A genuine BRP water-pump impeller and key assembly for a broad selection of Johnson and Evinrude V4, V6, V8 and E-TEC outboards.
The large flexible impeller is used in numerous complete BRP water-pump kits, including 5001594, 5001595 and 5007556. It is supplied with or used alongside the correctly sized impeller drive key.

🔌 Function
The impeller draws water through the gearcase intake and forces it through the water tube into the powerhead cooling system.
Common signs of failure:
• Weak tell-tale flow
• Engine overheats at idle
• Blades are cracked, missing or permanently curved
• Impeller hub is separated from the rubber
• Drive key is worn or sheared
• Pump cannot prime after launching
• Cooling pressure falls at higher speed
• Rubber fragments are found in the thermostat passages
