  • 22 applications across TAD, TWD and TADH series engines
  • Supersedes 17515059
  • Inlet and Exhaust System group

🔌 Function

Provides the sealed opening through which the system is filled, and gives the cap or plug a machined seat to seal against.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Weeping or dried residue around the neck or under the cap
  • Cap no longer holding, or hard to seat squarely
  • Neck sealing face corroded, scored or distorted
  • Thread or bayonet lugs damaged so the cap can lift

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the cap seal at the same time and check the cap holds its rated pressure before refitting
  • Clean the sealing face carefully; a scored neck will leak past a new cap
