🔌 Function

Provides a fixed threaded post through the riser joint so the assembly can be located and clamped down with nuts.

• Nut will not pull up because the exposed thread has corroded

• Stud wasted or thinned where it passes through the joint
• Stud snapping on removal, leaving a stub in the casting
