🔌 Function

Seals the joint between two mating faces, taking up surface irregularity so the joint stays tight under heat and pressure.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Weeping or staining along the joint line
• Gasket hardened, cracked or brittle when the joint is opened
• Material crushed or extruded out of the joint
• Fasteners found slack because the gasket has taken a set

🛠️ Service Notes

• Gaskets are single-use — fit a new one whenever the joint is disturbed
• Clean both faces back to bare metal and check them for distortion before assembly
• Gaskets 60111199 and 60111200 sit in the same group but are separate parts at 0.045 kg and 0.001 kg
