⚙️ Key Features

• 0.080 kg
• 33 applications across the TAD, TWD and TWG series
• The only reduction nipple in this group

🔌 Function

Adapts one thread size down to another so a smaller pipe, hose or instrument line can be connected to a larger port.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Weeping or dripping at either of the two threaded joints
• Hex flats rounded from a slipping spanner
• Bore restricted by scale or corrosion, so flow or gauge response drops off
• Thread damaged or cross-threaded
• Crack at the shoulder after over-tightening

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the sealing washers or rings on both threads when refitting
• Support the port when tightening so the load is not taken by the housing thread
• Check the bore is clear before fitting, as a reducer is the first place scale collects

📦 Condition

• Genuine Volvo Penta part
• Brand new
• Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
