This table pedestal is designed as a surface mount installation. There is no need to cut a hole in the deck to mount its base. The top of the pedestal screws to the under side of a table which can be removed for convenient storage. The post and low profile base work on screw threaded action. Low profile base is an anodised aluminium. 27" in height, 60mm post diameter.
