🔌 Function
The CDI controls spark timing by processing ignition charging and timing signals, then triggering the ignition coil circuit at the correct engine position.
Common signs of failure:
• No spark
• Intermittent spark when hot
• Hard starting or no-start condition
• Misfire at idle or acceleration
• Weak spark after coil, stator and pulser testing
• Ignition timing fault isolated to CDI output
• Water or corrosion damage at CDI connector
📦 Condition
• Genuine used part
• Removed from running engine where applicable
• In good working condition unless otherwise stated
