Genuine Yamaha Internal Cylinder Head Anode - Part Number: 67F-11325-00

A genuine Yamaha internal sacrificial anode fitted within the cylinder head or crankcase cooling-water jacket on selected 80HP to 300HP outboards.

The anode protects internal aluminium cooling passages from galvanic and electrolytic corrosion. It should be inspected regularly and renewed before excessive erosion allows corrosion to attack the engine casting.

The internal anode sacrifices its own metal to protect the cylinder head, crankcase and cooling-water passages from corrosion caused by electrolysis and dissimilar metals.
