Reed plate 68F-13624-00-1S positions the six reed cages between the intake manifold and crankcase. Each reed-valve assembly opens as crankcase pressure falls, allowing the air and fuel charge to enter, then closes as crankcase pressure rises to prevent the charge flowing back through the intake.
