The throttle body regulates intake airflow in response to helm throttle input. The engine control module uses throttle-position information to calculate fuel delivery, ignition timing and idle control.

Common signs of failure:

• Throttle plate sticks or does not close fully

• Shaft or body wear causes an unmetered-air leak

• Throttle-position reading is erratic

• Carbon deposits cause unstable idle or hesitation

• Engine cannot achieve full throttle opening

📦 Condition

• Genuine used part
