🔌 Function


The pulser coil detects crankshaft / trigger position and sends timing signals to the CDI so the ignition coils fire at the correct time.


Common signs of failure:


• No spark

• Intermittent spark loss

• Misfire under load

• Hard starting

• Engine cuts out when warm

• Trigger signal outside specification

• Spark returns when a known-good pulser coil is fitted
