Genuine Yamaha Internal Cylinder and Crankcase Anode - Part Number: 6H3-11325-01


A genuine Yamaha internal sacrificial anode used inside selected two-stroke cylinder blocks and cooling-water passages.


The anode corrodes before the surrounding aluminium casting, protecting the cylinder block, crankcase and cooling jacket from galvanic corrosion.

🔌 Function


The anode sacrifices its own material to protect internal aluminium cooling passages from electrolysis and galvanic corrosion.


Common signs of failure:


• Anode has lost approximately half of its original mass

• Anode is deeply pitted, cracked or consumed

• White corrosion appears inside the cooling jacket

• Cooling passage contains loose anode material

• Anode has not been inspected during scheduled service
