A genuine used Yamaha thermostat cover for selected Yamaha two-stroke and four-stroke outboards. The cover closes the thermostat or cooling-water outlet chamber on the cylinder block and maintains the designed coolant path through the engine.

The same casting family is used by Mercury / Mariner and Parsun. Yamaha part number 6H3-12413-00-1S replaces the earlier -00-00, -00-94 and -00-9M versions.

🔌 Function

The cover seals the thermostat or cooling-water outlet chamber and retains the thermostat and associated gasket. It directs cooling water through the intended engine passages.
