70330081 Compressor | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta compressor weighing 22 kg. It consolidates two earlier numbers, 3803663 and 70330001, one of which was carried as a remanufactured compressor, so confirm with us whether the unit supplied is new or remanufactured and whether any return of the old unit applies.

⚙️ Key Features

• 22 kg, a freight item rather than a parcel
• Supersedes 3803663 and 70330001
• One earlier number was listed as a remanufactured compressor
• Confirm new or remanufactured supply before ordering
• Also supersedes Volvo part number 70305889

🔌 Function

Compresses air for the system it serves, driven from the engine.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Slow to build pressure or not reaching pressure at all
• Knocking, rattling or squealing from the compressor
• Excessive oil carry over into the system downstream
• Overheating or discolouration of the compressor body
• Air leaking audibly from the compressor or its connections

🛠️ Service Notes

• At 22 kg this needs mechanical support to handle and ships as a freight item, so allow for that when planning the job
• One of the consolidated numbers was described as remanufactured, so check with us whether an exchange or core return applies before ordering
• Clean or renew the supply lines and check the drive before fitting, as debris and a slipping drive will damage a new compressor
