🔧 Product Description

Genuine BRP Evinrude Johnson Engine Tuner - Part Number: 0777185

A genuine BRP aerosol engine-cleaning treatment formulated to remove gum, varnish and excessive combustion deposits from petrol-powered two-stroke and four-stroke engines.

🔌 Function

Engine Tuner softens and removes carbon, gum and varnish that can accumulate during normal combustion.

Deposits may restrict piston-ring movement, reduce compression sealing, interfere with valves or ports and contribute to rough running.

Common symptoms associated with excessive deposits:

• Piston rings stick in their grooves

• Compression becomes uneven

• Engine idles roughly

• Acceleration is hesitant

• Spark plugs foul repeatedly

• Engine produces excessive smoke

• Cold starting becomes difficult

• Power output drops

• Carbon accumulates around exhaust ports

• Engine knocks or runs unevenly under load

Recommended service procedure:

• Warm the engine according to the product directions

• Remove the engine cover and identify the correct air-intake or maintenance-valve application point

• Keep the engine cooling system supplied with water during treatment

• Apply the product evenly according to the label instructions

• Avoid uncontrolled overspeed while spraying

• Allow the specified soak period

• Restart the engine and run it long enough to remove the cleaner

• Expect temporary smoke while loosened deposits are expelled

• Inspect or replace heavily fouled spark plugs after treatment

• Do not leave the cleaner inside the engine as a storage preservative

• BRP guidance commonly recommends treatment approximately every 50 operating hours or annually

Safety and handling:

• Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated service area

• Keep away from sparks, flames and hot surfaces

• Wear eye and skin protection

• Do not inhale the aerosol mist

• Store the pressurised container away from heat

• Aerosol shipping may be restricted to road transport
