🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta retainer weighing 0.001 kg, listed for 1 TAD series application. With no group published against it and a single fitment, order it by part number against the assembly it came from.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta TAD1643VE-B
  • Engine Family: TAD

⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.001 kg
  • 1 TAD series application
  • No group published against the number
  • Order by part number

🔌 Function

Holds its mating component captive so it cannot move out of position in service.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Component it holds working loose or falling out
  • Retainer distorted or its tension lost
  • Retainer sheared or cracked on removal
  • Wear marks where the part it retains has been moving

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Small retainers are treated as single-use once sprung, so fit a new one rather than reusing the old
  • Account for it during strip-down, as a missing retainer often only shows up after reassembly

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
