⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Exhaust leak at the flange joint or along the weld
• Soot tracking out from under the joint
• Weld cracked where the flange meets the pipe
• Face distorted by welding heat so the joint will not seal
• Bolt holes pulled or elongated

🛠️ Service Notes

• Measure the pipe before ordering, as 78490714 is the 4 inch version of the same flange
• It is a weld-on fitting, so it needs a competent welder and the face checked for flatness after welding
• Renew the joint gasket and fasteners when the flange is fitted
