A genuine used Mercury Quicksilver Flagship analog tachometer with a 0-8000 RPM scale for compatible Mercury, Mariner and MerCruiser petrol ignition systems.
This black-face instrument receives a pulse signal from the outboard charging system or petrol-engine ignition circuit. The rear calibration setting must match the engine's pole or pulse configuration.

🔌 Function
The tachometer counts ignition or charging-system pulses and converts them into engine revolutions per minute. Correct pole or cylinder calibration is required to prevent an RPM reading that is proportionally too high or too low.
