Genuine MerCruiser Rochester TBI Flame Arrestor - Part Number: 807693T

A genuine used MerCruiser flame arrestor for selected GM V6 and V8 electronic-fuel-injection engines fitted with a Rochester throttle-body injection system.

This earlier arrestor mounts over the throttle body and was used before the later 806637-series replacement on several MerCruiser Gen+ EFI applications. Throttle-body diameter, engine serial range and mounting arrangement should be matched before installation.

🔌 Function

The flame arrestor permits intake airflow while helping contain a flame front caused by an intake backfire. It protects against ignition of fuel vapours within the enclosed engine compartment.
