📋 Kit Contents

• Included in overhaul kit.

🔌 Function

Deflects water or spray away from a bearing or seal so it is not driven into the assembly.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Water reaching a bearing or seal that should have stayed dry
• Ring corroded, split or worn out of shape
• Ring loose on its shaft or seat
• Rust staining or salt tracks behind the position the ring protects

🛠️ Service Notes

• If you are overhauling the pump, the overhaul kit already includes this ring — check before ordering it on its own
• Renew the seal behind it at the same time; a deflector alone will not fix a failed seal
