Provides the sealed, bolted mounting face on the tank for the fuel pickup and its fittings.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Fuel smell, or a wet film on the tank top around the flange
• Fuel weeping past the flange gasket
• Air drawn into the pickup, giving hard starting or a rough idle
• Flange face distorted so the joint will not seal
• Studs or threads corroded in the flange

🛠️ Service Notes

• Fit a new gasket - a fuel tank flange joint is not one to reuse
• Check the flange face is flat and pull the fixings up evenly in a diagonal sequence
• Suction pipes 828341 (242 mm) and 828373 (458 mm) cover the pickup lengths, so check which your tank depth needs
