  • Volvo Penta AQ120B
  • Volvo Penta AQ125A
  • Volvo Penta BB140A
  • Volvo Penta AQ140A
  • Engine Family: AQ, BB

⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.016 kg
  • 4 applications on AQ and BB series engines
  • Inlet and exhaust edge seal
  • 2 used per assembly

🔌 Function

Fills the gap along an edge or panel joint so gas, water or noise does not pass through it.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Air, gas or water tracking along the joint
  • Strip hardened, cracked or crumbling
  • Strip lifted or peeled away from its channel
  • Rattle or drumming where the panel is no longer damped
  • Corrosion staining along the line the strip should have sealed

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Clean the channel back to bare metal and dry it before fitting, since the new strip will not stay down on old residue
  • Fit the strip without stretching it, or it will shrink back and open a gap at the ends

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
