• Supersedes 824210 and 824233

🔌 Function

Closes off a coolant chamber, containing the water inside it and providing the sealing face and fixing points for the assembly.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant seeping from around the cover flange
• Staining or salt trails down the side of the housing
• Corrosion pitting or scaling on the internal faces
• Cover face distorted so the joint will not pull down evenly
• Bolt threads pulled or corroded in the fixing holes

🛠️ Service Notes

• Connector 837025 shares the same build range and the same two superseded numbers but is a far lighter fitting at 0.878 kg, so the two are not alternatives for each other
• Check the cover face for flatness on a straight edge before reusing it, and renew the joint gasket as a matter of course
