🔌 Function

Sets the standing height of the component it sits under, its 0.60 mm thickness shimming the assembly to the correct dimension.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Timing or projection out of specification after assembly
• Spacer dished, fretted or picked up on its faces
• Leakage past the joint the spacer sits in
• Shim thickness measuring away from nominal when checked

🛠️ Service Notes

• Order on the 0.60 mm thickness, as spacers in this family are a graded set and published weight does not reliably track thickness
• Measure the existing shim and the resulting projection rather than assuming like-for-like, since the setting is what the shim exists to control
• Three of the numbers this part replaces were catalogued as cylinder blocks, so cross-check carefully if you are working from an old parts list
