⚙️ Key Features

• 0.188 kg
• 34 applications across AD, D, TMD, DP, DPX and SP series
• Genuine Volvo Penta injector

🔌 Function

Atomises the high pressure fuel delivered by the injection pump and sprays it into the cylinder in the correct pattern for clean combustion.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Rough idle or a distinct misfire on one cylinder
• Black or grey smoke and heavy diesel smell in the exhaust
• Knocking or hard running from one cylinder under load
• Hard starting when cold and a rise in fuel consumption
• Fuel weeping around the injector or a sooty trail on the cylinder head

🛠️ Service Notes

• Injectors are best renewed or reconditioned as a set so the cylinders stay balanced
• Fit new seals and sealing washers, and renew the leak-off line if the hose has hardened — 838666 and 838667 are the lines listed in this group
• Have the injector pressure tested and set rather than assuming a new unit needs no checking
