• Joint leaking despite the clamp being tight
• Band stretched, distorted or losing its V section
• T-bolt or trunnion nut corroded, seized or snapped
• Clamp will not pull the flanges together evenly
• Soot or boost leak marks around the flange

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the sealing ring 838766 with the clamp, and tighten in stages while tapping the band to seat it evenly
• A stretched clamp will not seal a good joint — replace rather than overtighten
