  • Pipe chafed, kinked or cracked at a bend
  • Union faces damaged so the joint will not seal
  • Air being drawn into the fuel system

  • Renew the sealing washers at every union when the pipe is disturbed
  • Do not straighten and reuse a kinked leak-off pipe, since the wall will already be weakened
  • Bleed the system and check the joints under running pressure
