Genuine Volvo Penta Sea Water Pump End Cover - Part Number: 840386

A genuine Volvo Penta end cover for the flexible-impeller sea-water pump fitted to selected MD, D1 and D2 marine diesel engines.

The cover closes the front of the pump chamber and provides the flat running surface against the end of the rubber impeller. A smooth, correctly sealed cover is essential for the pump to prime and produce adequate raw-water flow.

🔌 Function

The end cover closes the impeller chamber and forms one of the sealing surfaces required for the flexible impeller to create suction. It helps the pump draw raw water from the seacock and deliver it through the engine cooling system.
