  • Tube chafed, kinked or fretted where it passes a fixing
  • Blocked or restricted jet feed showing as piston or ring distress
  • Union threads stretched or the olive damaged on removal

  • Blow the tube through and confirm it is clear before fitting, as a blocked piston cooling feed damages pistons
  • Renew the sealing washers or O-rings at the unions and clamp the tube so it cannot vibrate against anything
