843976 Water Pipe | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta water pipe from the Cooling System group, weighing 0.268 kg and listed for 6 applications across the TD, TMD, AQD and TAMD series. Volvo Penta's reman catalogue gives it a specific job: on a TMD70B from serial number 83030 onwards, the turbocharger is replaced by one reman turbocharger 3802012 plus one of these pipes, so the two lines go on the order together. It supersedes part numbers 3802005 and 837513.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

• Volvo Penta TD70CHC
• Volvo Penta TMD70C
• Volvo Penta TD70CRC
• Volvo Penta AQD70D
• Volvo Penta TAMD70E
• Volvo Penta TAMD70D

• Engine Family: TD, TMD, AQD, TAMD

⚙️ Key Features

• Ordered alongside reman turbocharger 3802012 on the TMD70B from serial number 83030 onwards
• 0.268 kg
• Supersedes 3802005 and 837513
• 6 applications across TD, TMD, AQD and TAMD
• Also supersedes Volvo part numbers 3802006 and 837555

🔌 Function

Carries coolant between two points in the circuit as a fixed, formed pipe.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant weeping or crusting at a joint or along the pipe
• Pipe corroded thin, pitted or scaled internally
• Ends distorted, so a hose or flange will not seal
• Pipe chafed where it passes a bracket
• Overheating from a restricted bore

🛠️ Service Notes

• On a TMD70B this pipe and reman turbocharger 3802012 make up the replacement together, from serial number 83030 onwards
• Turbocharger 843663 also lists 837513 among the numbers it replaces, so an old parts list quoting 837513 needs checking against the actual part
• Renew the hoses, clips and sealing rings at each end and pressure test the circuit afterwards
