845208 Spacer Sleeve | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta spacer sleeve from the Engine group, weighing 0.184 kg and listed for 66 applications across the TD, TWD, TID and TAD series engines. It is also supplied within spring kit 876020, and it supersedes both 843912 and that same kit number 876020 — so this number is the correct one for the sleeve on its own. Torsion spring 845215 belongs to the same kit.

🔌 Function

Sets and holds the working length between two components so the assembly is clamped without being crushed.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Slack or knock in the assembly the sleeve is meant to set
• Sleeve crushed, belled out or shortened at the ends
• Bore scored or worn oversize where the bolt passes through
• Rust scaling that jams the sleeve in place
• Fasteners repeatedly working loose

🛠️ Service Notes

• Order torsion spring 845215 at the same time — both parts belong to the same spring assembly
• This number covers the sleeve alone; ordering kit number 876020 gets the whole spring kit instead
