845450 Fuel Hose | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta fuel hose weighing 0.302 kg and listed for 138 applications across the D, TD, AQ, AQD, TWD and TID series engines. It replaces two earlier numbers, 837534 and 880618. The listing notes only that it is specification-dependent without naming the specification, so check the hose length and end fittings against the one you are removing.

🚤 Compatibility

• Engine Family: D, TD, AQ, AQD, TWD, TID, BB, MD, THAMD, B, TAD, MB

⚙️ Key Features

• Replaces 837534 and 880618
• 0.302 kg
• 138 applications across the D, TD, AQ, AQD, TWD and TID series
• Specification-dependent — compare against the hose being removed

🔌 Function

Carries fuel between two points as a flexible run, absorbing engine movement without transmitting strain to the unions.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Diesel smell or wet staining along the hose
• Outer cover cracked, crazed or chafed through
• Hose gone hard and inflexible, or soft and swollen
• Weeping at a crimped or threaded end fitting
• Hard starting or hunting from air drawn in through a porous hose

🛠️ Service Notes

• A leaking fuel hose in an engine bay is a fire risk — renew rather than patch, and check the whole run while you are at it
• Compare length and end fittings with the old hose before fitting, as the listing does not state which specification applies
• Support the hose clear of hot surfaces and moving parts, then check for weeps at working pressure
