• Supersedes 468351
• 11 applications across four engine series
• Also supersedes Volvo part number 468023

🔌 Function

Carries oil between the sump pickup and the pump along a fixed route, holding its shape so the joints at each end stay square and tight.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil pressure low or fluctuating, worst when the oil is hot and thin
• Air drawn in at a loose or cracked joint, giving a foaming, aerated feel to the oil
• Pipe cracked at a bend or fretted where it touches the block
• Oil weeping at the flange or union

🛠️ Service Notes

• Old number 468351 also brings up oil strainer 847288 and bracket 847347, so it no longer points to one part on its own - order by 847289
• Renew the sealing washers or O-rings at the joints; a drawn-in air leak here is far harder to find later
