Atomises the fuel delivered by the injection pump, breaking it into a spray fine enough to burn cleanly in the combustion chamber.

- Nozzle found dribbling, coked or with a distorted spray pattern on test
🛠️ Service Notes
- Have the nozzle pressure-tested and the spray pattern checked rather than fitting on suspicion - a bench test finds the faulty one in minutes
- Fit a new seat washer and heat shield where the engine uses them, and tighten to the specified figure so the nozzle is not distorted
- The complete injector for TWD1010G is 847559 if the holder is worn as well
