🔌 Function

Feeds lubricating oil along a fixed route to the component it serves, holding the run in shape so its joints stay tight.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil weeping or dripping at the pipe or its unions
• Pipe cracked at a bend or chafed thin where it rubs
• The component it feeds showing signs of poor lubrication
• Union nuts seeping even after being tightened

🛠️ Service Notes

• The number it replaces, 3825048, was listed earlier as an oil return pipe, and there is a separate current part named oil return pipe, 847836, which weighs 0.24 kg against this pipe's 0.243 kg - the two are easily confused, so order by number and check the routing
• Support the pipe while the unions are undone and renew the sealing washers on refitting
