⚙️ Key Features

• Alternative early type
• 12.498 kg
• 27 applications across the TD, TWD and TID series

🔌 Function

Silences the exhaust pulse leaving the turbocharger, dropping the noise level while passing the full exhaust gas flow with minimal restriction.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Exhaust noise noticeably louder or harsher than it was
• Soot staining or a black wet trail at a seam or joint
• Rust holes, blisters or a seam splitting open
• Rattling or clonking from inside as internal baffles break away
• Loss of power or a rise in exhaust temperature if the internals collapse and restrict flow

🛠️ Service Notes

• Confirm the engine uses the early type arrangement before ordering, as the alternative designation is the only thing separating this from the later fitment
• Support the full weight during fitting rather than hanging it on the joints, and renew the gaskets and any clamps disturbed
• An exhaust leak inboard is a carbon monoxide risk as well as a noise problem, so make the joints properly and check them hot

📦 Condition
