• 0.122 kg
• 3 applications on TAMD series engines
• Fuel System group

🔌 Function

Carries fuel between two points in the supply circuit along a fixed, pre-formed route that keeps it clear of heat and moving parts.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Diesel smell or a wet, dust-caked film along the pipe
• Air drawn into the fuel system, giving hard starting or a stumbling engine
• Chafe flats or a bright rubbed patch where the pipe touches something
• A weep or drip at a union nut that returns after retightening
• The pipe cracked at a bend or at the union, usually from vibration

🛠️ Service Notes

• Confirm the engine falls up to the /52042 serial break before ordering
• Fuel pipe 848168 at 0.095 kg covers 2 applications on the same series, and 846827, 849813, 849814 and 849887 are the other pipes here listing TAMD engines
• Fit new sealing washers at the unions and support the pipe in its clips, since an unsupported fuel pipe cracks from vibration
