⚙️ Key Features

• Alternative version
• 0.429 kg
• Supersedes 848903
• 30 applications across the TWD, TID and TD series

🔌 Function

Carries coolant between the radiator and the engine through a flexible moulded hose that absorbs the movement between the two.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• The hose soft, spongy or swollen when squeezed
• Cracks or crazing in the rubber, especially at the bends and clamp lines
• Coolant weeping at a clamp or a wet trail beneath the hose
• The hose collapsing under suction when the engine is running
• Grit felt inside the hose as the liner breaks down

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the clamps with the hose and check the spigots for corrosion, since a pitted spigot will not seal on new rubber
• Confirm the engine uses the alternative routing before ordering
• Refill and bleed the cooling system properly after fitting, then check the joints hot
