• Fuel System group
• 34 applications across six engine series
• Precision fuel component

🔌 Function

Meters and directs the fuel spray, setting the pattern in which the charge is delivered.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Smoke and a smell of unburnt fuel
• Rough running or a misfire from one cylinder
• Hard starting from cold
• Fuel consumption climbing with no change in use
• Sooty or wet staining around the nozzle seat on strip-down

🛠️ Service Notes

• Have the nozzle pressure and spray tested rather than condemning it on symptoms, and fit as a matched set where practical
• Renew the seat washer and sealing ring whenever the nozzle is removed, and never reuse a copper washer
• Check the fuel filters and the leak-off pipework at the same time, as dirty fuel is what ruins nozzles
