🔌 Function

Lubricates bearings, pivots and sliding surfaces, staying in place where an oil would run out.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Grease separated, with oil sitting on top in the container
  • Grease dried, crusted or gritty with dirt
  • Product contaminated by a used applicator
  • Container left open so the surface has skinned
  • Old grease found washed out of a joint at service

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Clean the old grease out before repacking, since mixing an unknown old grease with a new one can break both down
  • Keep the container closed and use a clean applicator, as grit in grease does more damage than no grease at all
