⚙️ Key Features

  • Supersedes 834962, previously catalogued as an exhaust grommet
  • 16 applications across AQ and B series

🔌 Function

Carries exhaust gas away from the manifold and out of the boat.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Exhaust fumes or soot inside the boat
  • Sooty black staining at a joint or a seam
  • Pipe rusted through, blistered or holed
  • Exhaust note louder or harsher than usual
  • Cracks around the flange or at a bend

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Exhaust leaks inside a boat are a carbon monoxide risk - do not run the engine until the joint is sound
  • Renew the flange gaskets and check the studs while the pipe is off
  • The number it replaces, 834962, was catalogued as an exhaust grommet, so an older list will describe it differently
