⚙️ Key Features

  • 5/16 inch hose size
  • 0.03 kg
  • 118 applications across six engine series
  • Fuel system hose connection

🔌 Function

Gives a fuel hose a barbed spigot to push onto and clamp against, joining flexible hose to a rigid component.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Fuel seeping from under the hose clip
  • Hose end swollen, split or hardened where it sits on the spigot
  • Air leaks causing hard starting or an engine that will not hold prime
  • Barb corroded or damaged so the hose will not seal
  • Hose creeping off the connection under vibration

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Cut the hose end back to clean material and fit a new clip — a hose that has taken a set on the old spigot rarely seals on a new one
  • The threaded nipples 855117 and 855207 cover the same engine families where a screwed port rather than a hose barb is used

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
