⚙️ Key Features

• 20.049 kg
• 19 applications across AQ and BB series
• Supersedes 834438
• Inlet and exhaust system

🔌 Function

Carries exhaust gas away from the engine to the next section of the system, contained and sealed so nothing escapes into the engine space.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Soot or black staining spreading from a joint
• Exhaust noise or fumes noticeable in the engine space
• Rust perforation or flaking, worst on the underside
• Water weeping from a corroded section on a water-cooled run
• Flange faces cracked or pulled out of flat

🛠️ Service Notes

• An exhaust leak inside an enclosed engine space puts carbon monoxide where the crew are, so do not run the engine with a known leak - find and fix it first
• At 20.049 kg this is a freight-scale item rather than a parcel, so allow for handling and a second pair of hands on removal
• Renew the flange gaskets and check the studs and nuts, which usually come off worse than the pipe
