🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta coolant pipe weighing 0.136 kg and listed for three applications on AQ series engines.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta AQ171A
  • Volvo Penta AQ171C
  • Volvo Penta 251A
  • Engine Family: AQ

⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.136 kg
  • For AQ series engines
  • Three listed applications
  • Rigid coolant run

🔌 Function

Carries coolant as a fixed run between two points on the engine, holding its shape where a flexible hose would sag or chafe.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Coolant weeping or dripping from the pipe or a joint
  • Corrosion pinholes, usually on the underside
  • Scale restricting the bore and reducing flow
  • Staining trailing away from a joint
  • Pipe ends distorted so a hose will not seal

🛠️ Service Notes

  • It covers three AQ applications, as does the coolant pipe 855518 at 0.163 kg, so the two are close neighbours in the listing and need separating by part number against the engine
  • Renew the hoses and clips at each end while the pipe is off

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
