🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta cap from the Fuel System group, weighing 0.431 kg and listed for 70 applications across AQ, B, BB, DP, SP and MS series.

🚤 Compatibility

  • Engine Family: AQ, B, BB, DP, SP, MS

Full model list at the end of this description.

⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.431 kg
  • 70 applications across six series
  • Fuel system cap
  • Sealed closure

🔌 Function

Closes and seals its opening in the fuel system so fuel stays contained and dirt is kept out.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Fuel weeping or seeping from around the cap
  • Fuel smell in the engine space
  • Sealing face or seal found hardened, cut or distorted
  • Cap not seating squarely or coming loose in service
  • Air drawn in, showing as hard starting or an engine that will not hold prime

🛠️ Service Notes

  • The fuel filter 855686 is listed for exactly the same 70 applications across the same six series, so the two are usually handled in the same job
  • Renew the seal with the cap and wipe the sealing face clean before refitting - a fuel leak in an engine space is a fire risk, so check for weeping with the engine running

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
