⚙️ Key Features

• For engines from serial number 70034 onwards
• 1.901 kg
• Nine applications across AQ, TMD and TAMD series
• Supersedes 841172

🔌 Function

Passes engine oil through a water-cooled core so the oil sheds its heat and holds its viscosity when the engine is worked hard.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil temperature or engine temperature climbing under sustained load
• Oil in the coolant, or coolant in the oil, from an internal breach
• Oil weeping from the cooler joints or end covers
• Core furred with scale or blocked with debris
• Oil pressure reading low once the engine is hot

🛠️ Service Notes

• The serial number break is the ordering detail - engines before 70034 take the earlier arrangement, so check the engine number
• Emulsified oil or oily coolant means the core has breached internally; flush the system thoroughly and change the oil twice after fitting
• Renew the sealing rings and end cover gaskets with the cooler
