🔧 Product Description
Genuine Volvo Penta bracket from the Cooling System group, weighing 0.327 kg and listed for 10 applications on the D series. It supersedes part number 859387, which the earlier lists catalogued both as a mounting kit and as a heat exchanger — so anyone ordering the old number expecting a complete exchanger will receive a bracket only. Bracket 859363 also replaces 859387 and covers the same 10 D-series applications at 0.424 kg, so the two are not interchangeable and the old number alone will not tell you which you need.

⚙️ Key Features
- Supersedes 859387, catalogued earlier as a mounting kit and as a heat exchanger
- 0.327 kg
- 10 applications on the D series
- Bracket 859363 also replaces 859387 — confirm which before ordering
🔌 Function
Carries and locates the heat exchanger on the engine, holding it square to its mountings so the pipework is not loaded.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Heat exchanger able to be moved or rocked on its mountings
- Cracked bracket, usually starting at a bolt hole or a weld
- Chafed or strained hoses where the exchanger has been allowed to move
- Heavy corrosion or scaling on the bracket in a salt-water installation
- Elongated fixing holes and fasteners that will not stay tight
🛠️ Service Notes
- Confirm which of the two replacements for 859387 your installation takes before ordering — 859095 and 859363 are different brackets
- Check the mounting rubbers and fasteners at the same time, and support the exchanger while the bracket is off
