🔌 Function

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Salt crust, white staining or a drip trail below a joint
- Pipe corroded, pitted or wasted, particularly at the clamped points
- Pipe chafed where it passes a bracket or another component
- Reduced raw-water flow or the engine running hot
- Pipe cracked at a bend or at a brazed junction
🛠️ Service Notes
- This one sits on the raw-water side, so expect corrosion rather than fair wear - inspect the whole run while it is out, not just the leaking end
- Renew the hoses, clips and sealing rings at each end while the pipe is off
