Genuine Quicksilver Gen II Cool Fuel High-Pressure Pump - Part Number: 861156A1
A genuine Mercury MerCruiser high-pressure electric fuel pump used within Gen II Cool Fuel modules on selected EFI, TBI and MPI petrol engines. Although often listed as a pump and cooler assembly, 861156A1 identifies the high-pressure pump itself; the surrounding cooler, reservoir and bracket components form the complete Cool Fuel module.
The pump supplies pressurised fuel from the Cool Fuel reservoir to the engine's injector rail. It replaces earlier pump 807949A1 and is serviced through several MerCruiser pump-kit configurations selected by engine serial number and drain arrangement.

🔌 Function
The electric pump draws cooled fuel from the Gen II Cool Fuel reservoir and delivers it at high pressure to the fuel rail so the injectors can meter fuel accurately under all engine loads.
