🛠️ Service Notes

• On a motor boat the strainer faces forward so water is forced up into the system under way; on a sailing boat it faces aft so water is not forced in while sailing with the engine stopped
• Close the shut-off valve if a motor boat is being towed, and before disturbing the intake
• Two intakes share the 19 mm hose size, so order by part number
• On a motor boat point the strainer forward; on a sailing boat point it aft so water is not forced in under sail
• When a motor boat is being towed, the shut-off valve must be closed
